Took Pavé Maria along for moral support and a weight check. Her weight is rock solid at 66.6 and the Flashman... 73.4 down from 85 ! That boy needed his Soloxine! I know I learned from your posts about the Flashman. Hope the post pill is perfect!! I never realized that the thyroid could wreak such havoc. I know it can with people, but never realized with animals. I was absolutely blown away about how many different & weird symptoms there can be with hypothyroidism. I'm so glad you've nailed it down, that seems to be half the battle. If you ever get a chance to attend one of her seminars, you should really consider going. She was a very good speaker, and the seminar was worth every cent. The seminar sounds VERY interesting and I would have loved to have gone to that. You know...my sister gained 20 pounds...had real dry skin and her hair was starting to thin. Her Doc did not listen to her nor did he listen regarding our Mom going into a hypothroid coma that was very serious. She changed docs...he ordered the testing for her and she started on her medication right away. She dropped the weight and is back to normal and feels better than she has in years. Jean is a hero in this house! I could NOT believe the weight that he gained and that 6 weeks was a long 6 weeks. He still has some very dry skin on his tummy that is peeling like what a sunburn would peel. He's put on a nice bit of weight, has not lost any hair, and seems much more able to control his excitability.
