Toby Needs A Few Thoughts, Please.

I just dropped my boy off at the vet for a dental. I know he's going to lose a couple teeth...and it just seems so quiet without him in the apartment.

I know I have the best vet on the planet...but he's my Toby, and I'm going to worry until I know everything went well.

If you have a couple of good thoughts to share, could Toby have them, please?

Thanks.

Sending good thoughts! Just wanted to reassure you that Toby should be fine. Merlin had a dental this past April and I was so worried! He did FINE. He was completely out of it afterwards, which is normal (although some dogs are less out of it than others, it just depends), and his teeth looked amazing!

I haven't heard back from Dr. Borden yet...I'm assuming that's because he does surgery-type-stuff mid-day, so Toby's probably in the middle of his dental right now.

They promised they'd call as soon as they were done with him. My DH will have to pick him up on the way home from work, though...since my shoulder surgery, I am not the right person to be assisting a drunk greyhound with a flight of stairs. :)

The patient has just arrived home with his Daddy, lighter by 4 teeth but with the remaining teefers all sparkly white.

He's also giving Mommy the drunk-doggy stink-eye, I might note. :lol

Everything went fine...thanks so much for all the support and good thoughts!

Yay! Good news for Toby! I know, I worry so much about my boys too! I will keep your sweet boy in my prayers for a quick and painless recovery! Tiger, Bueller and Domino are sending Toby some healing doggie kisses. Extra ones from Bueller because he said to tell Toby, he's been in his shoes just 2 months ago!
