Guest embarkguru
Prayers!!! Our Angel Penny did that too when she first came to live with us. I know that its scarey right now, but when you find yourself looking for socks to put over her foot and watching her try to walk on that....its going to make you smile! Guest myjazzy
Good luck with the surgery and hopes for a fast recovery. Gem had one of her toes amputated and you can hardly tell. The way the vet did it, he preserved the pad and put it over what was left of the toe. You really have to look closely to notice and then it just looks like she's missing a toenail. Jetstar and my angel Edgey both came to me with missing toes and it never bothered them. Once a toe gets dislocated, it will tend to get dislocated again when they run hard, so if it seems to be a recurring problem, the best thing is to amputate the toe.
