Guest Heath_Bar Posted April 8, 2008 Share Posted April 8, 2008 Thanks guys/gals! Shaysmom - yep, Nat is short for Nathaniel! We had our first jog yesterday afternoon, for some reason he was feelin' spunky and decided to trot rather than walk. It was cool - I run for normal exercise during the week without him, but seeing him go in a manner that had me at a "good" pace but him barely breaking a sweat was an eye opener. We also went downstairs for the first time tonight! We'd gone up 3 times within the last week, but always paced at the top instead of coming down and I'd have to carry him. I had to help him place paws so he wasn't stretched out fully and off balance, but after a step or two he figured it out on his own. Not graceful, but he did it . He's also found the bed, I found his big moose toy up there and noticed the blankets were a bit messed up. Wasn't long! I wish I had a camera to see what he did during the day!! Ther e is a Greyhound Expo in June (check under events for all the details) in MA (both race tracks) so hopefully you will be able to attend!
