Biting Flies

One of my grey friends is having a problem with biting flies bothering her grey when she takes him outside. They live in a rural area where there is a pasture with livestock nearby.

Anybody have a solution?

Thanks!

I've used Pooch Insect Repel Spray from Flutterbye Aromatics. It's pretty safe & smells good. In fact, I should reorder (NAYY). My girl used to be bothered terribly by those nasty biting flies. :( I think this helped.

They're a big problem here. I use Flys-Off that I get at Petsmart and it's great. I've also heard that the skin-so-soft is great as well.

Skin So Soft works perfectly. Before DH became Ex-DH, we used to spend a lot of time in the Apostle Islands during the summer and there are HUGE black flies, SSS was the answer. Unfortunately, it is also how I discovered that I am allergic to lanolin. :eek
