Guest greytloves Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 One of my grey friends is having a problem with biting flies bothering her grey when she takes him outside. ahicks51 Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 We used to use a 50/50 mix of eucalyptus oil and... something else. Maybe "Skin So Soft"? In New Mexico and Utah for field work, we used that to keep the gnats off of us. sweetdogs Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 I've used Pooch Insect Repel Spray from Flutterbye Aromatics. It's pretty safe & smells good. In fact, I should reorder (NAYY). I've also heard that the skin-so-soft is great as well. Before DH became Ex-DH, we used to spend a lot of time in the Apostle Islands during the summer and there are HUGE black flies, SSS was the answer.
