Guest janlove
Hello Everyone! Just curious as to what type of Heartworm pills Greyhound owners have seen good results with, and which type has the least amount of side effects. Thank You! GeorgeofNE
I'm sure your veterinarian has an opinion on that. Mine just switched George to Iverhart Max--but she wanted $95 for 12, and Omaha Vaccine was selling them for $45 for 12--so I asked her to write me a prescription (and she did). Guest laceyj
We use Interceptor and have not had any side affects. It's what our vet recommends and we have had no problems with it. Scott is on it year round as he had a long and nasty battle with hookworms. We are finally on the other side of that and the year round Interceptor keeps them at bay. Guest greyvettech
I have my kids on Sentinel-It has the same active ingredient that is in Interceptor and takes care of Hw, hookworms, whipworms, and roundworms but it has program in it as well which acts as a "birthcontrol for fleas" and doesn't allow the fleas to reproduce...I don't have a flea problem but I don't think the added protection hurts...Interceptor is good too. With Sentinel, you have to give it with a meal....I have never experienced any side effects what so ever with ither one...
Jiffer
I've used Heartgard Plus and Sentinel and both worked great on my guys. Guest beerdogs31
I use Heartguard Plus with no problems and the dogs love to eat them (they are beef flavored).
