Guest team_weasel Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 Just need some of your thoughts... Yesterday Driver was perfectly fine. Last night at about 5 pm he ate all his dinner.. at about 7 pm DH and I took the dogs for a 45 minute walk. Later on that evening they all got Greenies, were let out at about 10:45 pm and went to bed around 11 pm. At 1 am Driver threw up. He went out at 4 am. Because it was dark we are not sure if he threw up again or if he threw up this morning when let out (I suspect it was either late the night before or at 4 am). This morning he ate his food (in hindsight, we should have fasted him). But he did still have his appetite. However, he is very lethargic. He is moving around very slowly, stairs are very slow for him, he isn' doing a full stretch like he usually does. He is drinking water, pacng around. I just let him out and his stools were quite soft. I know I'm just probably being paranoid, as it's likely just an upset tummy. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest HeatherDemps Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 It's always so hard when they first show signs of illness to decide if it's worth waiting a bit or going straight to the vet. I think what would concern me even more than the vomiting is the lethargy and the difficulties he is having moving around. Have you called your vet clinic to ask their opinion? I'd just make sure he has lots of water, no food though. Let his tummy settle. If he has any persistent signs of pain/discomfort, I'd call the vet. Hope he feels better soon!
