beledi
Samlur gets a case of the hiccups , quite frequently, in the evening. Anyone elses dog do this? He does not gulp his food. Guest HeatherDemps
My Italian Greyhound gets the hiccups on occasion. He is definitely a food gulper though!
Guest winli02
I am not sure if all animals are the same but my cat, Latka, gets them on a regular basis. I asked the vet about it and she said she never heard of an animal getting them, but if he did, and he was fine otherwise just to ignore it. I don't ignore it....I point and laugh at him He has had them on and off for the past 3 years..I assume it's the same for dogs....
Guest salov
Our girl gets them when she is anxious or nervous about something, for instance when she has to get stiches out. It doesn't seem to bother her though.
Guest Mommydog
My grandma always used to say that it's the young ones that get them, and strangely enough it seems to be true. Joe used to get them when he was younger, but he hardly ever does now, and Jack got them pretty frequently, but again, they're slowing right down now he's got to 5. Zema used to get them from time to time, but now I can't remember when she last had them. She's 9 now. She always looked so sad when she had them ... but then, she often looks sad LOL .
