VinnieAndRexsMom
We use it all the time I miss the chewable... actally the grey vet told me about it. He kept them in his pocket Now the chewable is the "complete" and it has the calcium crap in it and is really expensive, so we just go with the regular. Good stuff and it won't react with some meds like other tummy products. Quote Tonya, mom to May, and my angels Vinnie, Rex, Red, Chase, and Jake. Batmom
IrskasMom, when the dog is getting nausea or doesn't want to eat, usually what I do is: Give the Pepcid pill, wait @ 45 minutes, then feed dog. I don't put the food out till that point because sometimes they've already gotten a bad impression of that particular meal and won't eat it no matter what. So I wait till the Pepcid has had a chance to work first. Guest greytmonty
Monty gets Pepcid or a similar med (now Reglan....) 1/2 hour before his antibiotics, and they really keep him from getting nauseated.
Sighthounds4me
We've used it on ourselves and on the doggers. No problems, and it has been recommended by several vets we know. We either throw it into their mouths the "traditional way," or wrap it in cheese if we don't want to fight them. Guest CyndiW
One of my boys gets Pepcid twice a day for acid reflux and the others get it occasionally for upset tummies. We have never had any problems with it and it works great. The 10mg is a really small pill and very easy to pop in the back of their throats 30 min. prior to eating.
