Not sure if anyone will remember us or not!! I adopted Dempsey when I was in graduate school 8 years ago. Went through lots of adjustments with him due to separation anxiety, but that was resolved after many trial and errors and just time. It was just the two of us for years, then we added a cat. A year after that, moved into a house and added an italian greyhound, and another cat and now a husband. Poor Dempsey is no longer the only child but has handled it well- even giving up the bed to now have full reign over the couch! Dempsey was three when I adopted him and just turned 11 last month- it's so amazing how quickly that time flies by... he definitely has the distinguished face of an older grey now and of course, I still think he's beautiful.
