Nancy, where did you get the harness he's wearing?
Harry
I got it at a local pet food shop.I will look around tomorrow for a brand name.

I too think of him often.

If your vet us open to other ideas ask them to contact Ohio state & Dr coutos program.
I believe they to have a treatment for these that involve a small
implanted seed of something. RooRoo's Rizzo had this done in 2009.
he never had a reoccurance. He just passed last month but due to other causes.
-
Can you add Rizzo. RooRoo & her husband lost him christmas day.

I am sorry for your loss.
I have lost one grey like this and the rest to, not lingering, but to knowing they were declining. To me the sudden loss is harder. I still mourn for losing Red. From his refusing breakfast to letting him go before supper.

Harry's White Scar.

Glad he has recovered.

I know some one mentioned it, but i will repeat. Also document what food the dog got/may have got the day of and day before.
I had a pack of three; a boy & two girls. The boy, Red, was a seizure dog (idiopathic). Sprite ignored him and looked on in disintresst when he seized, but she also had no teeth. The other girl, Lottie, ran for the hills when he seized.
Otherwise we would have crated him. We do know that he did have a seizure or two when no humans were home.

Which vet?
Harry had a dental last year he lost one but
vet chuckled and said he has extra.

Didn't the late Linda Jensen have dun littermates?
They are almost nonexistent in the U.S. While still very rare there are more in Ireland.
She had a whole litter of duns she placed.

Had it done to one of our girls, Lottie. It was a regular surgery. She healed well, but you do have to keep they quiet for the healing time. Years later we couldn't even see a scar. I cut down a lot on her UTIs. she didn't get anymore until years later when she started having other health problems not related to the surgery.

Kathy runs a good kennel she will find the right home. I fostered a big black boy, Brett, for two weeks before i brought Harry home. I wanted to fail with Brett but. He was just not the right dog for us. He was adopted an hour and a half after I brought him back. And I took home a rambuncious medium size black ROMAN nosed boy. He is perfect for us.

we take them to the crematorium ourself.
I guess years ago they just used a metal can, but we use to pick out a nice wooden urn/box until i discovered Sarah's memory boxes. They now send them home in a nice box and i transfer them when i feel ready. It took almost a year before I transfered Sprite from the wooden urn to the memory box.

11/4/93 - 2/29/08.
You battled several rounds of cancer and beat it back as well as you could. But at 14 and round 4 you were tired and ready.
We still miss you.
-
so sorry for your loss Diane.
