28 packages waiting to arrive and one person still hasn't sent That one person that is still waiting to see "shipped" your back up is waiting for their shopping orders, so your package will be a little late in getting there if the original person doesn't show up soon. If anybody has seen her on other boards, please remind her she has an obligation to fill and if she doesn't plan on it, she should let us know ASAP.

We'll give them a few more days before calling in my backups And if you haven't sent and are getting the reminders to send... SEND YOUR PACKAGE. And if you are not sending your package tomorrow, I need to know what is going on. Are you going to send? If not, I have several kind people that have offered to fill in where needed.

As of tomorrow, if you haven't sent a package, I need to hear from you as to when/why Christmas is Monday. That leaves Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for packages to arrive where they need to be. If it isn't going far, Priority mail should still make it there if you ship on TUESDAY. After that, you might want to look into express mail or a shipping service (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc) and use one of their faster shipping options. We want lots of happy hounds for Christmas. We don't want any poor sad doggies sitting by their mail boxes having to wait for the mail person to arrive.

If you sent out a package and it has not yet been marked as received and you think it should have gotten there by now... start looking into it. If you haven't sent, you need to do that ASAP. If you have received a gift and haven't marked it as so, you need to do that as well. Email reminders will start going out on a much more frequent basis starting tomorrow. Please do not ignore them - get your packages shipped and if you have received, make sure you have marked it as such.

We send out REMINDERS. If you haven't received, then you don't need to do anything about it. If you have received and haven't clicked the box, that is the REMINDER to click the box.

There is no need to respond to the reminder emails we send out... they are reminders only, we don't want to know that you still haven't received yet or still haven't sent. These are just reminders to follow up with marking things as you do them.

As stated in the box in RED above, please include the end date of the auction in your title. This is so we can delete them once they are complete without having to go into each thread and having to figure out when it ends.

Here is a giant suggestion - try to send your package so it can be opened and people can figure out who it is for and if they can open it or not. Not everybody will open their mail when it arrives and just hang onto it until Christmas. If it needs to be opened asap, please put that on the package. Maybe also put the dogs name on the package and if it is box 1 of 3, add that, or if it is a teaser, add that. The teasers are fine, but leading to confusion, especially with people that don't even open the outer layer of packing. And if you are sending something to somebody that isn't for SS, please put that on there!

Even if it were open, you don't have enough posts to join yet. There are a few gift exchanges through the year, so keep your eyes open for the next one.

A few people are still not matched up and the pool at the moment isn't really large enough to do a decent match. I'm going to wait a few more days and keep the system open for new signups to see what we get. I'd like to close the sign-ups later this week though. So, if you are still thinking about signing up, please do so soon And if you haven't gotten your match yet, I'll do it when we have a few more entries.
