Oh Kerry, I'm so sorry. Maybe it's time to back up and go back to basics. He improved on the I/D and Flagyl right? Just that and nothing else? And then he started to decline again when going off the Flagyl and the treats/Panacur were introduced?
Hang in there, I know the awful rollar coaster you are on
Good point Amber. Kerry my heart goes out to you. I can only imagine how scary this is.

I know how much it hurts Donna and how much you miss her. I'm so very glad that sweet beautiful girl found you. Greta will be missed but always remembered. With so many friends at the bridge, she will never be lonely while she watches out for you Klaus.

His smile was enchanting Blair. I'm so sorry.

Blair I'm so sorry your beautiful guy had to go. Your heart must be feeling so battered right now,

Congratulations! I love her sweet white face.

I'm so sorry. Run like the wind Spencer. You will be missed.

Poor Merlin. The fluids should perk him up and the Flagyl hopefully kick the poop out of the problem! (sorry ). You rest Kerry, I know he's going to be okay now. It'll feel strange not having him at home I know. Hugs to Merlin k?

Tuffy
in Remembrance
Josie along with everyone else, I am so shocked and sad to see Tuffy's name here. I am so very very sorry. He will be missed by so many of us.

Congratulations PJ! She is so gorgeous. I loved that litter. They grew up into beautiful girls. Wecome home Kali.

He is gone much too soon. Surely he just arrived. Sigh. I'm so very sorry.

My Jilly always would "bite" the backs of both Jack's and Joshy's necks when she was excited in play. Never ever hard and they never cared. In fact you could almost see the eye rolling. After the first flush of excitement passed she would stop. If I thought she was too rough I would break it up.

For me none of mine were ever confined. I know that doesn't work for everyone and would never recommend it for everyone. But some dogs do just fine without crating or being enclosed. You may want to close doors to a room or use a babygate to a room that you would be devastated if she were to do do something er less than perfect in. As Rally said she may get comfortable enough to chew your shoes later .

Honestly? Just give her time. When I do home visits I tell new adopters that their new dog will often behave like a very polite stranger in their home for quite a while. It can take several weeks to months for the dog to even realize that they actually live there now and that you are their people. That they are not merely a guest in your home and will be moving on yet again. Remember although she may like you, she doesn't really know yet. She is not yet bonded with you.
It is impossible to say when that magic moment will be for your dog but when it does happen, then you will see her attach to you in ways that will absolutely warm your heart. I would second all the training suggestions but it has only been a month! That is nothing, really nothing! And I just bet in 6 months or a year you will look back on this thread and just shake your head.

Have you been doing alone training with him?

I'm so sorry.

Lucy MoMo will definitely be in my thoughts. I hope this the fix for her that you are hoping for!

Just to add to your confusion, I feed Orijen but many hounds find it too rich for dogs especially early on. I would also agree that the hair pattern is unlikely food related. I have the Three Bears of hair patterns, bald, partly bald and just right . they all get the same food.
