Glad to hear he is doing better. Poor boy, so glad he ended up with you and is getting good care and lots of love!!
-
Looks like a possible staph infection.
-
Poor Comanche! Hope it is something easily fixed.
-
glad everything went well

If she is drinking try vanilla Ensure or Boost, get the high calorie version.

My neighbors probably think I'm nuts. I go around the yard with a poop bag picking the mushrooms. Don't know if the ones I have are toxic but I'm not going to take a chance with my pups lives.

Possible abscessed tooth. Even if he recently had a dental it still could be a bad tooth.
-
Also check your food for rosemary, many dog foods have this and it can cause seizures.

She could most likely take them off. Mine remove their booties if I am to slow to get to them.
Have you tried atropine drops? one drop on the toe a bit above the nail bed. One lick and she will leave it alone. Your will have to get it from your vet. My vet laughed when I told him what I wanted it for the first time. One bottle lasts a very long time. Works great to keep them from licking stitches out.

Our bridge girl Dreamy would do that. Always in the middle of the night. Very different from a roo. Wakes you from a sound sleep.

Thanks, he really stresses.
Sky doesn't like them either but she is fine with just the Thundershirt. Sneakers could care less, he just sleeps.

I just gave Dood a melatonin tablet as we will have fireworks going off tonight for Irish Fest. After I gave him the tablet I noticed the expiration date on the bottle was January. Will it still help?

Our group uses Revolution on our fosters, it is safe and effective.

I used Revolution and had no problems. The only reason I switched is the residue left on their fur. Dood does pet visits and they fall to close to when I was putting on the Revolution. I was worried about the elderly petting him and getting some on their hands.
Revolution also treats for fleas.

We have to feed a nighttime snack or we get upset tummies here. I keep back a little of their supper kibble. They get the kibble and some yogurt for their snack.
We feed Nutrisource Heartland Select. It is bison and chicken, Dood doesn,t do well on only chicken. We went grain free years ago when my bridge girl Gypsy had tummy troubles that were made worse by grains and just stuck with it because it works for my pups.

Dood is feeling better today. He did his supper dance which is a good sign. He ate all his supper (canned food and soaked kibble), mooched some pasta from DH. He still has some swelling in his lip, but it has gone down.
No ice cream, but he did get some yogurt last night.

He had a dental today, 4 teeth pulled. One was expected as it was abscessed and that was the reason for the dental. He had a rough time waking up and panicked. Before the could get to him he hit his head, bit his tongue and bruised his lower lip. Vet was very sorry, they told me about it when they called to let me know when he could be picked up. They noted it on his record for the future.
Here is his swollen lip
Here is the poor boy

Sounds like a seizure.
I keep a chart for Sneakers, date, time, duration and description of seizure. Also jam or honey will work for something sweet.

Have you tried moving their bowls to a different location?
-
Could you put a tarp cover over the dog run? Maybe that would prevent any food getting to them.

My bridge girl Gypsy was very fussy her last year. At one point she would only eat if she got warm chicken alfredo over her kibble. At other times it was freshly grated parmesan cheese (forget the canned, it wasn't good enough). Then it was beef gravy and it better have chunks of beef. Then canned tuna. She cycled between these, sometimes all she would eat was ice cream. She did like vanilla Ensure, I got the high calorie one for her. We could usually get her to drink that if nothing else was appealing to her.
We catered to her and called her our Little Diva.

You can also use the Grooming wipes. They are less harsh than weekly baths but will reduce the dander.

While the referral clinic in Appleton is expensive they are very good. Unfortunately I have been there several times. Not for amputation, but for emergencies.
I have never used the vet school, but know several people who have. They were very satisfied.
I would choose the one that will be easier to get to, you will most likely make several trips there.
