Shame on the NYT for knot allowing Houndish vocabulary it its puzzles!
You know, they put on airs of being literate and yet...
Lupin, you are stupidly handsome!
My brother and brother-in-law are coming today to stay overnight. I did my cooking yesterday. Richard vacuumed. Today, I will , , and put the new comforter on the guest bed. When Jupe gets a shampoo or the lanai gets swept is unknown at this point.
Jupe woke me up at 6:30 this morning with a scream. Not uncommon. We can only guess that he moves a certain way and pinches a nerve or he's just .
Rita! You poor little thing! Backandforth

Checking in on FancyTwo and I see it's greyt news! O.K., not greyt but treatable.
Ivy, you look good in anything but especially peenk and purkle.
mmmm.... chips
Vanessa, I have good news/bad news. Th bad news is that I "beat you" with 3 different sources of migraine. The good news is that menopause just about wiped them out completely.

Class remedy. At one time, they had me on old fashioned caffergot. There's a reason caffeine works.
Jupe, who decided late yesterday that I really am his momma and deserved forgiveness would like to chime in.

A field of yellow rapeseed. Is that what the Canola oil fields look like?
FancyTwo, we will all backanforth for you and think pawsitive thoughts.
Lupin, what a fabulous day you had at work. I am hoping you will have many more. It sounds like you were a very good boi and that's the first step in getting your own office.

Happy Birthday, Lupin!

Backandforth for FancyTwo.
Jupiter seems completely uninterested in the fact that I'm home. He's not a "people dog" other than following me from room to room. I suspect that has more to do with knowing where his next cookie/walkie/kibble comes from.

I watched Squid Games. I made a joke about it when my students did their presentations. I think they were impressed that I knew it.
I’ve done nothing today but drink water, nap and read. Oi, traveling is tiring!

These pictures are wonderful! And a good photo of Flashy finally. I’m glad everyone is having a good time, except the Silken Windhound. It’s just like Ducky to leap into action and help others, isn’t it?

Good morning. My body has no flippin’ idea what time it is. One hour difference plus different meal times and I’m lost. Up at 4:15 this morning after going to sleep at 11:15 (couldn’t help but watch the finale of Wilderness).
I got to give Henry his bottle last night. It was fun. I’ll share a picture when I get back to land of Laptop.
Have fun at GiG! -
so I might just leave them on and take bird baths instead of a shower. (Yes, I know they do need to be removed at bedtime.)
So…. I’m wondering what the neighbors think about you splashing about in your backyard birdbath. You could at least take a bucket into the shed you know.

Having knot yet completed my first this morning I read this it iz Patriots' Day in Massy Choo Choo) dey wurke don bilding a beeg wooden feeder to hold da rownd bales fur da cows as everyone in Massy Choo Choo is required to build a big feeder on this state holiday.
Yes, they do. They build a big channel across the state to keep the Boston marathoners on the right path and out of the gutters and stores.
First flight was good and dull, just the way I like them.
Richard took multiple tutorials on feeding, walking, how to get 3 poos into a single grocery bag (a talent if mine), belly bands, etc. I anticipate much whining during tonight's phone call.
Lupin! You poor, sweet thing.
Kerry, o.k., it was awful being in the same place you lost Pippin but you did it and it's done. Now, that's the room where they successfully treated Lupin. Just keep telling yourself that.

Ivy, let us know if you need an emergency Chewy delivery.
It's a quarter to 6 and I"m sitting at the kitchen table dressed and made up with hot rollers in my hair. We leave for the airport in half an hour. It'll be the first time I've been separated from Jupe Jupe. He's a major PITA but I"m going to miss him. why, yes, I am saying the exact same thing about my husband.
Miss Oh Canada Nancy, that was a really nice recognition you received.

Ohhhh..... love snapdragons. Haven't seen any in years.
Me, too!
Richard bought the banana plant at Home Depot and he said it took about a year to fruit. It will give two hands of bananas that take FOREVER to ripen. And, they ripen all at once, hence, the bag of bananas in my freezer.
Jupe Jupe wants to tic tic so I'll go brush my teeth.
H! Hi! It's me! Jupiter!
is she gone?
You will nebber guess what Momma did the other day. I was playing with my favorite toy Bret Michaels Bear. I had my usual 30 seconds of play time and put him down. Momma picked him up and took him to her chair! She sat there with him and some needle and thread and finally gave him back to me. The nerbe! Then, you know what was worse? Yesterday she picked him up and kept him all day. And now, he doesn't smell the same! Why Mommas gotta think they can mess with your favorite toy?
This me with Bret Michaels Bear

Halise, Jupiter will be wearing his Star of David collar for our long wiki walkie next week.
Kathy, I wondered when the post travel confusion would hit. A few of the women in my support group are dealing with husbands with confuzzlement and it's very trying on them. The main reason I stay in support group is because it reminds me how comparatively easy I have it (and every once in a while I say something that appears to be helpful to someone else).
Ducky, that's just heartbreaking.
Chris, you have such lovely gardening pictures and Kathy has such nice flower pictures. Allow me to share what I discovered when gardening yesterday. One of Richard's banana trees has two blossoms. I know. They're a little "Feed me, Seymour". IFYKYK.
For scale, this thing is about a foot long from fluffy yellow frilliness to deep red lips. Yes, they always looked a little pornographic to me, too.
I'm finishing up packing lists and to-do lists. This time tomorrow (6:15 a.m.), we leave for the airport.

Netflix just added ‘Dexter’. I’ve watched it all twice, but may have to do it again
When they launched Dexter Forever, I went back and watched the original series from the beginning. I've also read all the books.
"broken from gardening" Yep. "nod I get it. I did about 3 hours of gardening this morning, plus laundry, had a quick lunch and then, support group. Sitting still for an hour has not done me any favors.
Samba, does this remind anyone else of...

That's ... unexpected.
Ducky, which season and episode.
If you're on Amazon Prime and haven't already guessed, yes, I'm watching Fallout. The combination of futuristic Sci Fi and Mid Century Modern is almost too much for my hear to bear. And, there' jell-o in every episode.
Lupin, what a marvelous adventure you had.

Lucy, Carol Ann is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today. That reminded me of your trip. When are you going?

Oh boy! Houndie pictures galore! First Wiki, then Andi, then Wiki, then Charlie, Zorro and Samba, and then Ivy and Cherry. Be still my heart!!
Lupin what a trying couple of days you've had. Please feel good that you've made your momma's difficult days easier.
Wiki, Jupe comes into the bathroom every morning, plonks his head in my lap and waits for ear rubbies and neck rubbies. If I forget and shut the door with him on the wrong side of it, he whines and whines whines and whines and whines and ....

Nancy, this trip is such a blessing. Have a wonderful time and cherish the memories.
My brother Bob, and his husband Mitch, arrived yesterday. Mitch had tendon surgery and is just now able to get around with a cane. That means Bob does not feel he can make the trip to Holland and Belgium in September.
I am taking advantage of this trip to get all the "brotherly wisdom" I can. For example, my niece and nephew want me to buy the house next door to them as rental (and "eventual") property. Bob thinks it's a good idea and is willing to go in on it as a partnership if I don't want to lay out all the money. Plusalso, we navigate the care and handling of cranky husbands. To be fair, Mitch is not usually cranky but Bob has been doing full care giving for a couple of months now (not Mitch's first tendon surgery poor guy ).
Rita, have a good day, sweetie.
