How is Zoe doing today? (And how are you doing?)
-
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious girl.
-
Is she drinking? I'd worry most about dehydration. If she's not drinking, I'm sure your vet can show you how to give subcutaneous fluids.

My short term foster with the suspect Ehrlichia titers was on Doxycycline for 30 days. She finished the Doxy on Apr 11, and is going to her new home soon. How long should we wait to retest? (She is a one year who was never sick. The tick titers were just done to be sure there was nothing that might be a problem later.)

Don't worry about the cystocentesis--when Zippy had it done, I was at her head, helping stabilize her as she lay on her back, and I saw it done; didn't seem to really bother her at all.
The last time one of my girls had a cystocentesis, she rolled over on her back on her own, then stayed there for belly rubs after they finished. My dogs all love my vet.

Like Anne, I would question it being an artery.
-
So glad to hear that she's doing better.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have to think that birds wait at the Rainbow Bridge with our other beloved pets.

Sending prayers for Cafe. I'm so sorry her wounds aren't healing well.
-
So glad that Kylie is home and on the road to recovery.
-
Sending hugs and prayers. I hope the next update will be a better one.

Thanks for the info on laser therapy. My vet has started to offer it, but I didn't know until now how it worked or what it was used for.
-
Sending gentle hugs for Shelby.

I know it's harder with her wanting to be more active and being cranky, but at least that means that she's healing. I'm so glad for that.

How is sweet Jackson doing today?

I'm glad to hear that Kylie is doing better.

I'm so sorry for your friend's loss. My best friend in high school had a Dane. She was a wonderful dog.

What absolutely wonderful news!

I am so sorry. RIP Hogan.

I know it's hard not to worry, but concentrate not only on clean teeth and sweet breath, but also on the health benefits of not having gum disease.
-
Sending hugs and prayers for you and Curfew. I agree with not doing the MRI. Why put Curfew through it when it wouldn't change what you do anyway?
-
More prayers for Diamond.

So glad that Henry is doing better.

I think when they say that only dogs with compromised immune systemd get it, they're talking about the dog getting sick. It doesn't sound like your dog is sick if they just found it on a routine stool sample. Coccidia is common in many environments and easy to pick up. Wouldn't hurt to treat, but I wouldn't be too worried.

RIP Dolly, I'm sorry you didn't have more time to be spoiled by your forever family.
