    Arrow's Bone Cancer. Need Some Guidance

    I am so sorry that another Greyt soul has been affected by the monster- Cancer. We lost our sweet girl Sara last year to Hemangio Sarcoma, cancer of the blood vessels, with an inoperable tumor in her spine, we let her go 24 hours after diagnosis, it was a painful but necessary decision. I would have done anything to prolong her life but it was time as she had survived 5 years with GME/another terminal disease and had gone through a year of chemo in 2007, she was almost 11 years old. I was told by her Doctor, to take her home and spoil her. Nothing could have prepared me for the grief that followed. Spoil Arrow and cherish the time you have together :grouphug:grouphug Just wanted to also add that sugar is another thing that speeds the growth of Cancer.

    Oh Jordan, I am so very sad to read this, tears flowing,Sara will welcome Dandi, she loves everyone and will be happy with another boyfriend. There is peace and love for Dandi, no more pain, fear, and suffering once he has crossed over, I believe that with all my heart and as others have said he will only leave you in body, his spirit will still be there in Pembroke and he will always live in your heart. You gave him the best life and saved him from a painful existence in Spain, he loved his life w/you and your pack. I am here if you need to chat just as you were there for me when Sara crossed over. :(:bighug

    I use it for my boy Max for pain, when he had eye surgery, Anal Gland surgery, and off/on when he runs and is sore, he will be 11 in October and although he never had race injuries, I think he has arthritis. He does great w/it, syringe has weight on it for dosage so it is easy to dose and he loves the taste of it. It is the only med he takes easily :)

    Here is our new girl Flower, it is her 7th Birthday today, she was surrendered on Mothers Day by her family and came to our home on the 14th, we absolutely love her!!! Edited to add that it took a year and a month for Sara, our Bridge girl to send the absolute perfect match for our home, Max likes her, and Rascal the kitty rubs up against her like his long lost bud. Time for a new Siggie!!
