Jasmine Posted August 29, 2022 Share Posted August 29, 2022 Hi everyone, Brandy has just been diagnosed with pannus. He is on steroids for a month then eye drops forever. He is only 5 and has relatively good vision at the moment. Just wondering if anyone here has experience with pannus and any advice? cleptogrey Posted August 29, 2022 Share Posted August 29, 2022 (edited) yup, been there. just order the ointment vs. drops. works better from what i observed and much easier to administer. annie had it, easy to control- the only time i was told to worry was if i was to visit high altitudes for extended periods of time. as a matter of fact the only time it worsened was the couple of months she was on drops vs. ointment. that ointment really sticks to the surface. huskies are up there with GH in pannus- i think they might just be #1 in the disease these days. he(eye dr) did a ton of research when he lived in alaska and raced huskies. shop around on google shopping for the best price on ointments, a small tube lasts a good amount of time.
