Scooby172
I am working with a trainer with Jack on some fear based aggression issues. Interesting, the trainer mentioned she had talked to Patricia McConnell about some studies relating a high protein diet to behavior changes in dogs. Any one familiar with this or have an opinion? Thanks.
MaryJane
This link speaks of this but, note there are no scientific studies. There is a reference to an article in the Veterinary Journal that you can follow up on. http://www.provet.co.uk/petfacts/healthtips/proteinaggression.htm Also found this but, there were not many dogs in the study ... http://leerburg.com/protein.htm and this one provide more information that Tufts was involved in the data for the 2nd link. http://www.lgd.org/library/protein.htm Edited October 9, 2016 by MaryJane
