Possibly not good for dogs, especially with compromised livers. Does anyone know if Dentasure oral care spray works, as it does not have any alcohol in it and would be safer. cristar Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 I switched from Petzlife to Denta Sure about a month ago because of the alcohol too. She's had horrible teeth since we got her 3 years ago and just had another dental three weeks ago so I'm still in the initial stages of how it's going to work in the long run. Guest Johberry Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Thanks! Right now I've been attempting to brush my new boy's teeth with Sentry Petrodex Natural Toothpaste. It's a peanut flavor my hound loves which ironically makes it quite the challenge to get his teeth as his tongue just licks and licks at the toothpaste.
