TheFullHouse
With mine I'm wondering if it's genetic because two of my four litter mates have it. Hypertension can affect the kidneys (my one littermate now has kidney disease), they can go blind, affects the heart and basically a lot of their internal organs. Bullitt presented with a swollen abdoman and was holding 20 lbs of fluid, kidney function was awful. Now that he is on blood pressure meds and a kidney diet, his last kidney tests were normal. Joey presented with vision problems. His eyes are dilated and don't contract with the light very well. He's shown some improvement since starting blood pressure medication and his pressure is now within the normal range. I'm glad I caught it before he lost his sight.
