Our vet uses Amicar when appropriate and we've been pleased with the results the couple of times we've had to make use of it. Guest budsmom Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 I freaked out a couple weeks ago when Twiz had her dental and asked my vet to use it. I knew she was going to lose one of those big upper teeth, and bleeding is in her pedigree. I'm sure that must be why the bruising where the catheter was went away so fast.
