Walliered
My 6 year old grey Da Vid has been limping for about a month. He is favoring his left rear leg. My vet x-rayed a month ago and said his hip was a little swollen. I kept him quiet for a week and it did not get better. This time she x-rayed his foot and said his first joint on his left foot was swollen and she put a splint on it. She took it off this past Monday and all was good. Until today and he is favoring it again. Hardly putting any weight on it and shaking it and panting. This only seems to happen in the afternoon as in the morning he is fine. I talked to Claudia at Greyhound Gang and she suggested I get OSU involved. I totally agree, but do not know how to do it. Please give me step by step directions. Thanks so much, Nan Forgot to say that most of you know that I lost Huck a few weeks ago and I am really worried about Da Vid.
MaryJane
I'm sorry to hear that Da Vid is limping Here's the link I have for the consultation form. Fill it out and attach any x-rays (you want digital files). They usually get back to you within a few days but, it really depends on how busy they are. https://greyhound.osu.edu/consultationservice/consultation/index.cfm
