Guest LadyChester
Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent beef-based food? While I've really liked Diamond Naturals Beef, I think I am too concerned about the ever-expanding recall to stick with it. My guys have done really well on beef, so I'd like to keep that consistent if possible.

Guest WhiteWave
In addition to the Nature's Variety Prarie Beef, here are a few others: Solid Gold Millennia is beef based. Canidae has a beef and ocean fish formula. Pro Plan Selects has a beef formula Fromm Beef Frittata (grain free) Avoderm has a beef based food. Nature's Logic Evo Red Meat Innova Prime beef/lamb That is all I can think off right now.
Hubcitypam
I was just going to mention the Pro Plan Selects beef and rice. If you REALLY don't want to break the bank there is Beef n' More Merrick's dirty little secret. The distance it from all their high end foods but Beef n' More by the trainload to Wal-Mart and Sams is what built the Merrick Empire. For years their canned was almost identical to the Merrick Cowboy Cookout. Beef 'n More was .53 a can and Cowboy Cookout $2.10. Same plant. Same beef. They no longer carry Beef 'n More canned at Wal-Mart but it is probably the best canned for the price out there.
