Guest Melissa516
When we brought Ginger home a month ago, we bought the Avoderm Lamb & Rice food from GAA. As it turns out, this food doesn't seem to agree with Ginger's digestion, and we've switched to IAMS. We have maybe half of a large bag left and hate to throw it out. So, if anyone wants it, you can have it. We are in Seaford, NY (Nassau Co.). The only thing is... it's not in the original bag. We put it in a large plastic pet food storage container. So, we'd have to put it in something else (maybe a draw string kitchen garbage bag?). We really don't care what kind of dog eats it (doesn't have to be a greyhound). We just don't want it to go to waste. If anyone is interested, please email me at mbrooksesq@gmail.com. (Neither of us can access the private messages here yet, because we are too new.) Time4ANap
If you don't get any takers here, some shelters will take food that has been opened. Your local shelter can most likely tell you if any local shelter will take it. The shelter in our county won't use open bags, but they collect them for the shelter in the next county over that will use them. We've had a few times that we were glad to have a place to take dog food that was perfectly good but didn't work out for our use. Quote Camp Broodie.
