Zero - Separation Anxiety

Hey Tony - just a note to say we went through the same thing, only our boy wasn't destructive once he got out.

 

The tell tale sign for us that he was 'done with his crate': We found it in another room, walls all marked, and the bottom completely destroyed...we had to throw it out. He must have been terrified during the 'break out', but he has been fine out of the crate and roaming free ever since.

Hey Tony - if there's someone near your mom who'd stay with him, that might be your best bet...

 

Or I agree with the (very TALL) babygating into the kitchen or bedroom...
