Guest NorTex
So, I've pretty much been creeping here on GT for a few months and thought it was about time i introduce myself. Currently, I don't have any fur-babies due to living in a very strict apartment complex however, I have made up my mind that the next companion I bring into my home will be a grey. At some point in the past I happened to be a Petco while a greyhound adoption agency was having a meet and greet and I have absolutely been in love ever since. I'm currently located in the Dallas metroplex area and I just can't wait find the perfect greyt companion! -Katie
PrairieProf
Welcome! You will find many like-minded folks here, as I'm sure you know. I remember visiting this site when having a greyhound was still just a twinkle in my eye too.... Guest katethegreyt
Hey! I'm a Katie from Houston. I actually lived in Dallas for a short stretch right after Katrina. We just got our very first grey, and she's been a dream - literally her ONLY flaw so far is she has some rather stinky gas from time to time, but it seems to be getting less frequent as she's adjusting to her new food = ) Anyway, I live in a smallish loft, and my little lady fits right in (with 2 cats too). As others told me, if you can get one that has been fostered or "bounced" from another home (ours was a bounce), you'll have a great idea of personality and they will have some of the fresh off the race track kinks worked out if you don't have a ton of free time or experience. Our lady has been exactly as promised and we are completely in love. Good luck finding your new pupster = )
