LuvAPuppy Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 My vet personally prefers the psyllium husk/Metamucil type over the Benefiber types. She just feels it works better. I use it for the cat to (try and) prevent hairballs and once a day for the Iggy just because she doesn't really like to eat as much kibble as she should. She now eats just about anything she can get...sheets, toys, mail, etc. From the day we got her food has been a thing with her, but objects were safe. Not so much anymore!. Hopefully this will help.
