Walliered
My grey is having a tooth extracted tomorrow. The vet is going to give him these drugs: Tramadol 50mg, Deramaxx 75mg and Clindamycin HCI 150 mg. I do not know how often she is prescribing them. Are these OK for a grey to take? Batmom
Yep . Tramadol is a pain reliever that is safe to give with NSAIDs or steroids (you can't use NSAIDs and steroids together, but you can use either one of the two with Tramadol). Deramaxx is an NSAID -- nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, for inflammation and pain. Clindamycin is an antibiotic. Hope all goes well tomorrow!
