Newgreymom
Daisy was laying on her bed today and all of a sudden her head was moving like she was watching a fly around her head. It lasted for about 30 seconds and then she was fine. Does this sound like a seizure or a small stroke??
TheFullHouse
Hard to say. How old is she? Did she get up afterwards and pant and pace and look agitated in any way? Newgreymom
She just turned 9 a couple of weeks ago. She didn't pant, pace or anything. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen. After she layed there for awhile, she got up, grabbed her teddy bear and walked away.
TheFullHouse
I don't mean to sound flip or anything like that but are you sure there wasn't something buzzing around her head like a bug of some sort? If not I'd watch her. Write down the date and time of the incident. If she never has another episode like it again then it probably wasn't a seizure. If she continues to have these episodes I'd have a vet check her out. Most seizures are followed by a post ictal phase where the pup will pace, pant and seem a little distressed which is why I asked. They will also be quite sleepy and some will sleep for hours afterwards. Saint would fall asleep after pacing for an hour or so and then sleep so deeply you couldn't wake him up for a while. Burpdog
I've had them do a head bob from sinus problems. Shadow would even eat when it was going on. Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
Guest Energy11
Could have been a small (focal) seizure. Hard to say. I'd watch her closely, and of course, if it happens again, bring her into see the vet. Hope it was only an isolated incident. Good Luck!
