Guest popeyeDad
Has anyone heard of RoadRunner heartworm preventative. It can cover heartworms and intestinal worms including tapeworms. Does anyone know if this is safe for Greyhounds? Edited May 1, 2010 by popeyeDad
rycezmom
Road Runner is the name of the compounding pharmacy in Phoenix that I get Gustopher P's Pannus meds from. Are they making their own? Guest popeyesmom
I did not know they could include Tapeworm in the preventitive. This would be good information to get. I was told that you can add what you want covered as far as intestinal worms. Roadrunner plus 5 is the one that covers all intestinal worms including tapes. As far as price from my vet... it costs me $94 for 12 months of Interceptor and Roadrunner +5 would run about $96. So it is only two dollars more for me which is really cheap considering it will cost $50 everytime he gets tapeworms. They said I could order it at vet office and then it woudl be sent directly to my house.
