My vet did not specify how long they could be on it. I'll ask her. seeh2o Posted February 8, 2010 Share Posted February 8, 2010 I just heard from my vet, here is her email response when I asked about long term use: "Long term use should not be a problem. you could try to decrease the dose by half and see if you get the same results. the lowest dose to control the problem is always best. I will continue to look for references about problems,but I have not found any yet. Glad to hear that it is working so well."
