Guest happygrey
Hi! I'm new here. We just adopted a 5 1/2 year old grey named Tatam. He's an ex-racer who was used for breeding for a time after he was retired. We just got him on Sunday. So far things are going REALLY well. He's a total love. He's had no accidents in the house (wow!) and has been really pretty calm. Mr. Mellow. The only "big" house thing we have left to really undertake is getting him up the stairs. Unfortunately, we live in a really old house and have a pretty steep and long flight of stairs to get to the second floor. I read an article recently where a grey advocate was quoted as saying that adopting a grey was like joining a cult. It seems very true! It's really cool to find this whole world of Grey stuff. I love it! And having only ever owned a very dog-aggressive dog previously, I'm really looking forward to joining some of the Greyhound Adventure walks in my neck of the woods. Off to do some more greyhound reading...
