tornadosgirl
Finn keeps re-opening a scrape on his hind leg. I've been putting bactine on it, but now it's time for something more. He keeps on licking it and making it bleed. How can I make one of those collars so he can't get at it? Just til I can get him to the vet tomorrow. I have an ace bandage on it, just tucked in. So I don't know how long he'll leave it alone. Edited November 15, 2009 by tornadosgirl
Guest Greytluv
Take a towel and fold it in three's long wise. Wrap around neck and put some duct tape around it to hold it on.
Guest wjamg
I used the towel duct tape trick and it worked..make sure you use one of your thicker towels.
ahicks51
If you haven't tried it, consider working from the other end of the hound and putting him in some sweat pants so he can't lick it. Guest FreddyGirl
depending on how high up the wound is, try a sock, duct tape over sock.
