greysmom
We just went through that exact senario with Copper. Vet put him on 20 mg of prednisolone for allergies and skin itchies, and he did the same thing Connor did - he just peed wherever he was - laying on his bed, standing up, eating dinner - I felt so sorry for him! He knew he shouldn't but couldn't help himself. We lowered his dosage and he went right back to normal. He did stop itching though! greysmom Quote Chris - Mom to: Felicity (DeLand), and Andi (Braska Pandora) siggy by Chris Harper, on Flickr Angels: Libby (Everlast), Dorie (Dog Gone Holly), Dude (TNJ VooDoo), Copper (Kid's Copper), Cash (GSI Payncash), Toni (LPH Cry Baby), Whiskey (KT's Phys Ed), Atom, Lilly
Guest koolaidnconner
Thanks everyone. We have been putting him out probably every half hour to an hour today so no accidents as of today to speak of. Hopefully we get over this soon.

Guest MAXNAV
The prednisone will make them pee a ton. Also, my collie started peeing while sleeping. He was a wonderful guy who would rip down the door to get out to take care of business. I took him right away to be checked, and he had a bladder infection. Once on the meds, he was good as new. Batmom
What everybody else said -- worth checking for UTI but very likely just the pred. When B was on pred, 1st @ 10 days I would get him up every 2 hours during the day to take him out. He didn't have accidents in the house, but if we weren't watching the time he'd wake up and be "OMG, mom, I gotta get outside NOW!!!!!" He could make it @ 6 hours overnight so I set the alarm for 5.5 hours during that time. Once he got used to the dose, he was fine again. Sending hugs for yourself and scritchies for your sweet boy.
