fritofeet Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Vet told me that when they are turned like that it is because the ligaments/tendons have been torn. Most of the ones I've seen are not turned quite that much though. That's what I thought when I looked at the pic, it looks like I am late in replying though. Hogan had a back foot that must have been smashed before we got him, and his outer toe looked like the ones in the pic. He adjusted to the lack of padding on that toe, but it was only one. It looks to me like she had trauma later in life to the foot. I hope her dental went well, and if the toe is really bothering her, taking it off actually isn't a bad idea if it makes her comfortable.
