msjpk Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 So I came home from work, Friday, brought a bottle of wine, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh relax, WRONG!! I go to pet Plummer on the neck and he yells out in pain, I look further under his collar and HUGH gash, deep, hair is pulled back and all you see is pink skin. I couldn't take off his collar as his skin was stuck to it. Called vet and got them just as they were closing, rush there and he saw 2 wounds and stiched both of them up. Poor baby is sleeping as he got a sedative. I just don't know how this happened. It doesn't look at all like a bite mark from Lou. The wound looks like a pull, like the skin was pulled back. Hard to know what happened, he could have gotten his skin snagged on anything (crate, gate, wall, Lou's tooth, etc).
