Scooby172
Anyone use Iverhart Max monthly for heartworm preventive? It says it also takes care of tapeworms, any experience good or bad? Thanks Linda, Valor, Keeva and Bella
Guest greybookends
I used it with no problems. Our vet stopped carrying it because to many people were complaining that they couldn't get their hounds to just take it and they stopped buying it so the vet stopped carrying it. Guest Pipi5
I use Ivomec...I get it at the feedstore & put it on their food because it taste so horrible. I get some real stinkeye when I put it just in their mouth.
GreytHoundPoet
I use it and it's worked well for us thus far. Quote Masquerade Hounds & The Hounds of East Fairhaven & Ibizan Hound Club of the United States Member

Guest greyvettech
I think this is a very good product. We have never had any problem or complaints with this product.. Not only does it prevent hooks, rounds, whips and heartworms, ofcourse, it has the added protection against tapeworms.. which means you do not have to make a trip to your Vet for Droncit when you notice tapworms which is at about a cost of $6 a pill..and over 50# is a dosing of 5 pills...so If your pet does have a flea problem and continually seems to get tapeworms, this would be a good product for you.... greyhndz
None of my pack would take the Iverhart, unfortunately. They want their Hartguard Plus chewables, and nothing less!
