scullysmum Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 For those who remember I asked for some help and prayers for my friend Gwens Lurcher Ra who suffered a fibrocartaliginous embolism back in August and was partially paralysed in her hindquarters. Well, Ra is doing very well, she is now able to go off leash and when she walks you would hardly know there had been anything wrong, she is still slightly wonky when she runs, but run she does and she is back to her old whizzy self enough to make Miss Sadi grumble at her again! The only bad news in all this is that her half-sister Shiv who attacked her when she suffered the initial accident will not accept her back into the "pack" so Gwen basically has two packs now, one consisting of Ra and her Mum and the other of Shiv and her boy dog Bart, they live in separate parts of the house and walk separately but Gwen loves her puppers so much she would do anything to make them happy. It's a bit to get used to but hopefully all will work out well in their household.
