Peppersdad
Hi GTers, firstly thank you all for your kind thoughts, and good wishes,we took pepper to the vets this evening for a checkup, the vet is well pleased with the healing process,he says the wound is healing nicely, probably 3 to 4 weeks before its completely healed, pep finishes the last of the antibiotics tomorrow.peps pretty much back to his old self, half a bag of chocolates mysteriously disappeared overnight it could have been burgulars i suppose

Guest Vinnie
That's wonderful news. Now you will both probably sleep better (unless the chocolates keep disappearing).
scullysmum
That's good to hear Peter....I would have thought you would have known better by now not to let the burglars near your chocolates btw. Gwen and the pack send all the best. Xan
Glad Pepper is doing so well! Not to be a kill-joy, but watch those chocolates! It is pretty toxic to dogs. Even though they like it so much! Quote My Inspirations: Grey Pogo, borzoi Katie, Meep the cat, AND MY BELOVED DH!!!Missing Rowdy, Coco, Brilly, Happy and Wabi. Guest BlackandBrindle
Hilda, aren't they gerbil gypsies? I'm glad Pepper is doing better. Spud's back wound took about six weeks to heal completely as it was pretty deep. As for the chocolate, regular chocolate isn't as dangerous as baker's chocolate, so other than some wretched gas, I'd expect him to be fine and satisfied. Gentle scritches to Pepper!
