Guest LokisMom
Cole is very stiff in his hind end and has been since we got him. He barely bends his back legs, he tends to hold them really stiff and kind of hobbles around. He seems to have trouble getting up and down. We told the vet, the vet put him on Previcox for 2 weeks then took him off for a week to see if there was any difference. So here is my problem, I think there is a mild improvement on the medicine but it is so subtle I'm not even sure it is an improvement. I guess I thought it would be more obvious if it was helping. Am I expecting too much from the medication? Are the improvements supposed to be so slight you aren't even sure they are there? Could it be this is not the right medicine or isn't treating the correct problem? Thank you all in advance.
Burpdog
I would try supplements and acupuncture and/or adjustments You have a few good alternative vets in Indy. Last time I looked, Springtime was having a buy 2 get 2 free sale! Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
Guest LokisMom
I would try supplements and acupuncture and/or adjustments You have a few good alternative vets in Indy. Last time I looked, Springtime was having a buy 2 get 2 free sale! We do? Where would one find an alternative vet? And pardon my ignorance but what is Springtime? ETA: And by supplements, is there a specific supplement you would recommend? We just want to make his life as good as possible. Guest onefloppyear
I have heard that there is a homeopathic vet in Bargersville (just south of Greenwood). I know nothing about this vet or whether she is grey-savvy, though. http://www.bargersvillevet.com/

Guest LokisMom
Thank you all so much. We've been struggling with this for months now and it just seems like nothing our vet does makes a difference. Thank you again.
