Rustyroo
My poor old man. Both dogs were coming in from outside and Solo skidded and slipped on the floor and clipped Rusty's foot with his nails. He put two gashes inbetween the two inside toes of his back foot. Blood everywhere. So off to the vet we went. He had to to be sedated to get his stitches. Something I was not prepared for, but I guess he did fine. He has five stitches on the outside and a couple on the inside. On the bright side, the vet said his heart an d lungs sound great, so his excessive panting I wrote about is not an internal thing. Guest sheila
Poor guy! Those gashes between the toes can be a really hard thing to heal as any kind of running activity can break the area open again. I assume his paw his wrapped now. You may want to get a Therapaw or something for Rusty for a few weeks after the stitches come out.
