Remolacha Posted October 9, 2007 Share Posted October 9, 2007 Sugar had her first acupuncture treatment yesterday. It went pretty well, although she got antsy towards the end. I don't know if it was the acupuncture, or my switching her back to Pepcid, but after eating almost nothing for two days, Monday night she was back to her normal picky-but-eating self I learned an important thing, too. I had switched her to Zantac, and I think it just didn't work well for her. Personally, Zantac works for me and Pepcid does nothing. So, not only is it important to use something to soothe the tummy, if one thing doesn't seem to be helping, try a different one. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the zantac, sometimes doing one dose at bedtime works the best (300mg) 75mg does nothing in the dogs I've had that need it so I do a split 150 or the 300 at bedtime.
