Guest greyhound_bug Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent good thoughts and prayers for Eli. He is doing much better....other than lots of peeing from the steroids. Eli was at the vet on Wednesday for another check up and everything looks good and our vet was pleased with how the little squirt is doing. We are in the process of whinning him off of the steroids now, 1/2 a pill for another 2 days and then 1/2 a pill every other day for 5 days after that. Eli was "speechless" for almost a week, until last Saturday he started to bark at me and I swear that it was because he knew I was going to see some of their greyhound friends and wasn't taking them. He was quiet for a few more days after that but has started telling DH and I "how it is" the last couple of days. Yup, who'd ever thought that I'd say I MISS hearing his voice .
