Guest chucknstan
Stan was bitten by another dog at the kennel a little over a week ago. He was rushed to the E-vet and got stitches. The vet reported that the stitches were pulling on the skin, because he has so little skin to begin with. He is due to have them checked/removed on Friday, but today he must have licked them because they are all bloody and seem to have split in one area. They aren't bleeding per se, but just appear open or torn. Do we need to take him back to the vet ASAP or can we just let it scab up and wait until Friday? MarcR
I'd be inclined to let the vet have a look. Burpdog
Call the vet and ask I had that happen a couple of times and we left it and did water therapy when all the stitches were removed. Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
