Guest britt25 Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 (edited) It has been about 6 weeks since our beloved Boston Terrier, Frankie (Frank Sinatra - he had beautiful blue eyes) left us. He was our baby boy. He left us very unexpectedly and we are still unsure what exactly happened to him. We (and the vet) think that there was some sort of toxin in his system, we just can't figure out what it was. There is absolutely nothing in our house that it could have been. We are just baffled and we will never really know what took our little man from us. Frankie was only 2 yrs, 4 months old. He was such a lively little guy.......absolutely hilarious.....and hyper! He was my buddy. My DH is in the military and has been gone a lot in the last couple of years (almost the whole time we had Frankie) so Frankie and I had a special bond. He kept me company while my DH was gone. I - we - loved him sooo much and miss him terribly. I never realized how hard it was to lose a pet, but he was more than just a pet. He was a member of our family. We will always miss him. I am sure he is in doggie heaven now doing the Boston 500! After 2 years tears still find their way back.... but more then not it's usually laughter that comes now. I'm so sorry you lost your special little man.... and so young. Loved his name by the way!!!
