I'm sorry that I didn't check in earlier so that I could be baknforfing with everyone.
I am so relieved that AnnIE is home and so-far-so-good. Good waiting, Punkin.

Such a sweet face.
The crumpled mouth reminds me of something (other than LFA Lexie), but I can't place it at the moment.

Wot? Shady spot. Cool earth. It's perfect. AnnIE doesn't understand your objection.

Happy 6th Doolin!
Happy 6th Willa!
You both look terrific. That's a great park, even if you didn't do much. I hope you enjoy your birthday treats!

Kate who had not a care in the world. We always said that she was the mother who had curlers in her hair and wore her housecoat 24/7 while sending her pups to the corner store for cigarettes.
Somewhere I have a pic of Edie, who wasn't a broodie, in exactly that mode.
There have been many broodies here. They were all wonderful. I liked them so much that my filter on new adoptions became, "10+, lots of litters, lots of puppies."

Here is Fostr_Mom's Candy with a sweet white heart face.
And for comparison, here's Wiki (note registered name PJ Wicked). I see horns.
I agree with Jan: hearts or horns, both are beautiful.

I'm so very sorry. She had an awesome run, but it's still sad that your magnificent girl had to go.
Godspeed Abby.

I am just astounded at how instantly it works. What voodoo is this?
I wish I'd had voodoo when I had thunder-phobes in residence. It's wonderful that it helped.

AnnIE, as long as you keep up with the IE, Mom's sadness will be fleeting.

Oooooo, neck snuggles. Kat and Opal loved them. One day Kat shoved her snoot under my neck. Put me right to sleep.

I'm so very sorry. As many others have written, Rita had a wonderful time--her best years--with you. I wish for both your sakes that she could have arrived sooner and stayed longer.
Godspeed Rita.

Milo is doing amazingly well for a 14+ year old hound, let alone one with leukemia.
Librela helped Toodles a lot. I have a couple of foster kitties on the kitty version (Solensia) and it makes a big difference, especially for the one with terrible arthritis in her elbows. I hope Milo responds to Librela.

I recall walking a group of four past a bunny. Not a single one noticed it because it wasn't moving.

My clinic switched this year from NexGard / NexGard Spectra (depending on season) to Simparica /Simparica Trio. Simparica apparently covers a broader range of ticks than NexGard. I didn't switch Grey Toodles because she was almost 14 3/4, but I've read that others are using Simparica (Trio) with their Greys. Daisy, non-Grey, tolerated her first dose just fine.

After reading this I guess there is a reason we take the seniors in.
Yep.
I find that I can't take the activity levels of young animals. I never really could, but now my tolerance is even lower. Seniors are more my speed.

Trying is a different word than I used earlier. Lol. I love her so much. I love her so much. I just keep repeating that phrase. And “this too shall pass”. I think next week we’ll do a day or two of daycare.
About 25 years ago, after my second puppy in 6 months, I said I was never doing puppy again. I did--I brought Daisy home 10 years ago because I couldn't find an adult Std. at the time. She was promptly dubbed The Jerk, or something along those lines. She's still a jerk, but slightly less go-go-go and doesn't nip or jump up.

Gorgeous girl in an awesome collar!
Any vet cheered on by a fan like Poppy would run her heart out.
(The go-go-go spicy phase is ... trying.)

I'm so sad and sorry to see Toodles listed here. Doolin will continue to aspire to her magnificent ETS.

Thank you both.
Toodles started to slide a few weeks ago and the latter part of last week was increasingly ugly. It was time.

AnnIE would think the sign was most appropriate.
It's great that you found an on-topic book and that the group, though small, enjoyed their s ory time.
