  1. That's just what Tess' looked liked at 2 weeks and just as soon as the stitches were out she was fine. Didn't slow her down a bit. We just put socks on her when she went outside. We were like you about 2 days over the come out time and she had had enough of this so she took her own bandages off as well. She had 2 toes done at the same time. One right front and one on the left back. She is back to the fun police thing. Ruth

    She's Gone

I'm so very sorry you didn;t have longer. I know there is never enough time. Run Free with Suzy Tipper.
  3. Our Tess had 2 toes amputated just before Xmas. Outside toe on the right front foot and the inside toe on the left back foot. She has had no problem since. They had tumors on them that the lab said were caused by old injuries. Vet said there probably wouldn't be any more , but another tumors has come up on the toe next to the one that was amputated on the left rear foot. No nasty C showed up anywhere and she is doing just fine. Will keep your pup in our thoughts tomorrow and hope for a fast recovery and healthy life. Ruth
  4. I use the Coppertone Baby Spray. It's SPF 50. My Tess is crazy for the sun. She tans on all 4 sides but the only parts that really need spraying in inside her back legs and tummy , where the hair is really thin. She loves to roach in the sun. Hope this helps. Ruth
  5. Tess had seven on her belly. If I remember though they were a little redder than the one you posted. We had them removed and biopsied and one was not good and the other six were ok. They haven't come back, but like I said earlier she likes to sun bath so she get more. We have them removed. This last spring when he took the 7 off he told me to use sun block, so we did and she hasn't had any more come up . Ruth
  6. My Tess gets spots like that and sometimes they are redder on her tummy. We go have them removed and she is fine. I do have to use sun block on her tummy all the time because I can't keep her from sun bathing. That's her greytest joy. He said they are skin cancers but not always, so we have them removed just to be safe. They don't seem to bother her at all but drive me crazy. We use the Coppertone baby spray SPF 50 and that seems to help a lot. Wait until you the vet calls before you start fretting to much or you'll really go nuts. Chin up and think positive. Ruth
  7. I have used Bee Propolis and I used the liquid and put 5 drops in Tess' food. Since she doesn't always eat all her kibbles I put it in her cottage cheese for 3 weeks. I also used 3 drops and mixed it with Aloe Vera Juice and rubbed it on the corn. It worked very well. Since it is an anitbotic you shouldn't use it more than 3 weeks and then a couple of weeks break before using it again if necessary. You should be able to buy it at any good health food store. Hope this helps. Ruth
  8. Wonderful NEWS. Hope Fred gets the same reports. So glad that things are looking up. Thanks for the update and Hooray for Lacer. Ruth
  9. That is absolutely greyt. I have watched his progress and he is getting better daily. Good work you guys are doing. Loved the viedo. Keep up the good work Alan and Kudo's to Mom and Dad. Ruth
  10. Coppertone makes a SPF 50 spray on for babies. I contacted coppertone to see if it is dog safe and they said the most it might do is upset their tummies if the lick it. I use it all the time on my 2 greys with no problem. It is a lot easier to use than the cream and not near as messy. My 8 year old believes the grass and sun were put there totally for her pleasure . Ruth
  11. Hi Bill, Glad you guys are settled. Did Tipper get the couch she wanted. Tell Irene hello and we sure have missed you guys. Ruth
