  1. Just a tiny word of advice about something that might be missed. A GH can be totally cat safe inside (and there are tons of photos to prove it), but not so cat safe outside.

Also, might want to check out the various threads about food. I'm sure any help during school days will be greatly appreciated, but afterwards, you might want to transition your dog to another food.

  2. Welcome! The really funny thing for GT, it's just not greyhound knowledge. If I have a question, need advice, info etc on just about anything, I will ask at GT first.

Of course everyone agreeing that a sex change operation was a good idea didn't work out too well for me. My husband is so confused.:P

  3. YOU CAN DO THIS. You have had horrible times, and have been in horrible places health wise. Each time with YOUR OWN STRENGTH and the love and help of friends and near strangers-then- you have survived all of it. I know it seems double crappy that you have to go through some of this crap over and over again. But YOU CAN DO THIS.

  4. Having had giant Sagos in my backyard with my dogs, I have to say I can not imagine any animal attempting to eat any part of it. Unless they go for the new growth that comes out in the spring. The new growth is soft for a few days, but an animal would have to be determined and/or nuts to try to go through the older growth to get to it.

  5. Hi, I have no useful information for you. I just wanted to tell you that there are some very knowledgeable people on GT who may have info, but probably won't be active until tomorrow.

Paden is gorgeous, and I hope the vets will be able to help Paden. I have read of some GH having Pannus, but I don't know how prevalent it is nor how often it results in blindness.

Keeping fingers crossed for a good outcome.

  6. I'm not sure a shared broken heart actually makes anything easier. But I hope if everyone who loves you and Mike takes a tiny piece of y'alls broken hearts into their hearts, that it will help mend your heart. Only problem is that y'all are known to have just about the biggest hearts ever known. But I promise, many ,many people will try.
