  2. Good rule of thumb to go. Take there racing weight add 5% to that. Take that number for the weight you want them to be and divided that number by 15 or 20 and that will give you the cups per day. If you look on your dog food bag that might be the cups per day the manufacture recommends. Have heard this formula form a lot of vets and a lot of articles read on this subject. Another good rule of thumb if your getting a lot out of the south end so to speak your either feeding to much or its not a quaility dog food. A lot of poop means what your seeing is the filler the manufacture puts in there food. The key also is plenty of exercise for them. Woolfy
  3. A good rule to go by to keep them healthy is: Take there racing weight and add 3-5% to that for there normal weight Divide that by 15-20 and that will give you the amount of cups per day to feed them. We feed Pro Plan and if you look on the bag under there weight it comes out the same as doing the math above. A fat greyhound can cause some serious health problem and skeletal problems as they get older as there bones won't be able to take the extra weight. Also take into consideration dog bones and table scraps you feed them to see if that has a tendency to put on weight. You should be able to see there last three ribs and have an hour glass shape to them. Woolfy
  4. We do our three grey's every 3 months or so. And we discovered Oxy-Fresh has a wonderful shampoo that's all natural that doesn't dry out there skin. It say's that you can us it every day. And there coats look a lot better. Woolfy
